We are a classroom full of readers! How exciting!
Today in reading we talked about the difference between partner reading and private reading. Each student has their own reading partner. Today we practiced reading privately with our reading buddies. We talked about what that looks like and sounds like.
In the classroom library I have a visual posted identifying to students whether it is time for partner reading or private reading.
Within seconds partners found quiet places throughout the classroom to read their books! They are reading pros already!
