We had a wonderful first day back after the long weekend. I can't tell you how many times I thought it was Monday!
Today we completed our first literacy rotation! We learned about the letter t; how to write it, say it and associate it with a word. For example t top /t/. As a class we also learned our first sight word a! We dot painted it, used it in a sentence and our second classroom book will be about the word a.
Our day has been full of wonderful things but I would have to say our most exciting event today was we finished our first classroom book! One down seventeen more to go! To celebrate we made a short video giving you a snippet of what it will sound like! We hope you come in and check it out!
