I hope today is filled with smiles, laughter and only a few tears! My time in Oxford is winding down and as I finish my dissertation (YAYA!) I am becoming more and more excited to be back at JES! A new school year is about to kick off (t-25 days) and I am beyond excited to be back at JES! (the face doesn't do the excitement justice) To my new families WELCOME! To my old WELCOME BACK! As I always say it is truly an honor and privilege to teach your child and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity! Unfortunately, I will not be able to start the year off with everyone. I am just finishing up my MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition at Oxford. However, I will be back stateside September 4th and ready to welcome my new academics to our classroom family on September 5th! I know starting school especially kindergarten can be filled with joy, tears, laughs, worry, excitement and 'oh my gosh how old is my child?!?' moments.
