Leveled books are coming home today in Thursday Folders! Check them out! Today we read our books to the whole class using our teacher voices! It was wonderful to see them cheering on their friends after they finished reading! I hope you enjoy what super readers we are becoming! Love, Miss Brehm

This week I am starting to send home leveled books! The leveled books sent home are not new to your child. It is a book read to me, Mrs. Bahr, peers in partners, small group and whole group. Please add these books to your library at home. You may keep these books until the end of the year! I keep track of the books I send home. I will let you know in June when to send them back! Bring these books on weekend trips. Have friends read them by themselves, to you, before bed, before school, to grandparents, siblings, stuffed animals or absolutely anyone anything! These books will help to keep friends fresh over our week long breaks! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I will strive to do this once a week. (GOAL!) It snowed today! To celebrate we took our math outside and played BOP in the snow! It was cold but totally worth it! Hope you were able to enjoy the snow too! Love, Miss Brehm

Spiders, spiders and more spiders! A big thank you to Leigh for teaching us all about these amazing creatures! As a class we looked closely at different spiders, checked out some tarantula exoskeletons, built our own spider and then listened to a story about the difference between a spider and an insect! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! What fun!  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notable Info: Pictures are coming home in backpacks today! Picture retakes are Tuesday, November 8th! Please let me know ASAP if you want a picture retake! Bus Evacuation was at 8:45ish this morning! WE ROCKED IT! They were kind, respectful and really listened to directions. I was so proud! Math is a wonderful time in our classroom! A favorite of many! Ms. Waite came in today to work on Boehm vocabulary. She focused on number word before. Mrs. Bahr worked on number ID with ten frames. The two independent stations were iPads hungry guppy and a number ID coloring sheet. We also celebrated a friend's birthday today! It was so fun learning wonderful fun things about her!
