Three Billy Goats Gruff

Nurse Amy came in this morning and performed her rendition of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. 


We really enjoyed listening to her version of the story! In reading we are going to focus on all different ways to tell one story! Nurse Amy was our first introduction! She used a felt board with the characters of the story. Nurse Amy also sang the words instead of just reading the story. "Click clack, click clack, let me pass. I want to run in the green green grass".

A big thank you to everyone who came to Open House last night! It was so nice to see you! There are still dates available to volunteer for 4 Winds. One for October 24th, one for January 23rd and two for April 17th. All three are from 12:00-12:40 pm. Please email me if you can! Also please return/let me know your top three choices for parent/teacher conferences as soon as possible!

Day TWO!

Day two is truly wonderful! We have so much fun together! Today we started working on our first classroom book and WOW it's going to be AMAZING! So many beautiful illustrators and creative thinkers in this class. Also today we completed our first of many Math and Writing rotations. It's been a busy busy busy day! Now to the fun stuff. It's always said that pictures speak much louder than words and I agree 100%. So here are the pictures from our magnificent day TWO! Right after lunch we went outside to explore our school garden with Nurse Amy! We picked marigold seeds which we are going to plant in our classroom!
