We had a wonderful celebration with our PJs and Stuffys!
Our stuffies helped us read, write, complete math tasks AND (most importantly) PLAY! It was a fun day in K!
We started to learn about poetry! As a class we read a book, watched some spoken word poetry and then began to write a whole class poem. We talked about all the different topics you could write a poem about and chose Zogika! Here is what we have so far!
Zogika
I love Zogika a whole awful lot.
He lives in a fish pot.
He makes me smile
and looks like a crocodile!
Zogika swims all around.
He swims like a merry-go-round!
After, each writer had the opportunity to work on their own poem. The writers chose to write about topics they love! Once they are finished we will publish them and post them in our wonderful hallway!
