As a class we practice Mindfulness.
I turn on some calming music. Friends find a spot in the classroom all on their own. We lay down for about two minutes. Then by the time I count to three they sit criss cross with a hand on their chest and hand on their belly. I choose a friend to lead us in mindful breaths. On the last chime friends come to the circle when they can not hear the bell anymore.
It is a wonderful activity to do as a group. We talk about why we do it and the benefits of it.
