4 Winds: Spiders

Spiders, spiders and more spiders! A big thank you to Leigh for teaching us all about these amazing creatures!

As a class we looked closely at different spiders, checked out some tarantula exoskeletons, built our own spider and then listened to a story about the difference between a spider and an insect!

Pictures are coming home in backpacks today! Picture retakes are Tuesday, November 8th! Please let me know ASAP if you want a picture retake!

Bus Evacuation was at 8:45ish this morning! WE ROCKED IT! They were kind, respectful and really listened to directions. I was so proud!

I sent out our classroom book to be published TODAY!

Day TWO!

Day two is truly wonderful! We have so much fun together! Today we started working on our first classroom book and WOW it's going to be AMAZING! So many beautiful illustrators and creative thinkers in this class. Also today we completed our first of many Math and Writing rotations. It's been a busy busy busy day! Now to the fun stuff. It's always said that pictures speak much louder than words and I agree 100%. So here are the pictures from our magnificent day TWO! Right after lunch we went outside to explore our school garden with Nurse Amy! We picked marigold seeds which we are going to plant in our classroom!
