We Have SNAP Power!


We are SUPER READERS and one of our new powers is SNAP POWER! Super Readers look for words that repeat, then they go check out the word wall to see if the word is already up there. IF it is they keep reading. IF it is NOT they follow the steps of our chart. 

So many Super Readers have discovered new snap words for us to work on! This is a great idea and a fun power to use at home so Super Readers can keep practicing!

Scholastic Book Orders Due Thursday 1/12/17. You can order online using our classroom code of PCR8P!

Delayed Opening is next Wednesday 1/11/17! 

100th Day Celebration Tuesday 2/7/17 more information to come! Mark in your calendars. Our celebration will be in the morning.

Day TWO!

Day two is truly wonderful! We have so much fun together! Today we started working on our first classroom book and WOW it's going to be AMAZING! So many beautiful illustrators and creative thinkers in this class. Also today we completed our first of many Math and Writing rotations. It's been a busy busy busy day! Now to the fun stuff. It's always said that pictures speak much louder than words and I agree 100%. So here are the pictures from our magnificent day TWO! Right after lunch we went outside to explore our school garden with Nurse Amy! We picked marigold seeds which we are going to plant in our classroom! Check out all the fun we had!  It was a busy day indeed, but so much fun! I can't wait for tomorrow! Love, Miss Brehm
