Rainbows and Goodbyes

Who doesn't love an art project for the first couple days after break!?! To symbolize spring coming (hopefully soon even though I am dreading the reported 19 inches of snow we might get on Tuesday) we made spiral rainbows to decorate our hallway!

We started them yesterday using watercolors...

and finished them today!

They add beautiful technicolor to our hallway!

We ended our morning with Nurse Amy coming in to say goodbye. She left us with her beloved storytelling of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Tortoise and the Hare.  Nurse Amy will be missed, but she's going off to bring babies into the world so we decided that was a good reason for her to move on from JES.

It has been a busy three days in kindergarten and it's just getting started! I can't wait to see what the next two months have in store for us!

I wish you well.
Love,
Miss Brehm

Day TWO!

Day two is truly wonderful! We have so much fun together! Today we started working on our first classroom book and WOW it's going to be AMAZING! So many beautiful illustrators and creative thinkers in this class. Also today we completed our first of many Math and Writing rotations. It's been a busy busy busy day! Now to the fun stuff. It's always said that pictures speak much louder than words and I agree 100%. So here are the pictures from our magnificent day TWO! Right after lunch we went outside to explore our school garden with Nurse Amy! We picked marigold seeds which we are going to plant in our classroom! Check out all the fun we had!  It was a busy day indeed, but so much fun! I can't wait for tomorrow! Love, Miss Brehm

We're Back!

Welcome back!! We are jumping right back in! (We only have 35 days of school left!) CRAZY! This morning we practiced our whole school morning meeting! The whole class is really excited for tomorrow! If you are able to join us tomorrow. Please meet us in the cafeteria at 7:45 AM. If you are not able to join us no worries Mr. Bouchard will film the morning meeting and I will post it to our blog! We are really really excited! At lunch we celebrated in our classroom due to the downpour of rain! We had fun pushing the tables together and eating in the classroom! A fun treat to celebrate our kindness and respectfulness!  So happy to be back and can't believe we have only 35 days left!  I wish you well! Love, Miss Brehm

In honor of my momma, Katrina Brehm, I am running a marathon. Crazy, I know. I got it from her. In Mom’s memory, my goal is to raise enough money to send a child to @camptakumta ! Please take a moment to check out the link in my bio and if you’re able to, give any amount. Thank you ☀️
