Community Paper

Today was a fun day! We spent the morning creating community paper! The community paper will be used on Thursday for our Innovation day! We enjoyed finger painting, water color and texture painting!  Happy Tuesday! Enjoy the gorgeous weather! Love, Miss Brehm

Growing our Math Brains!

We enjoyed exploring all the possibilities to show a number! Students enjoyed making community paper for the center, petals and stem! On the petals we used our math brains to show the number different ways. Each flower is different and unique just like my students! We posted them in the hallway! Come check them out!  Love, Miss Brehm

Writing Celebration

Today we went to the beach! We enjoyed reading our How-To books while listening to the waves crash gently on the beach. Everyone loved our special popsicles to help us cool off from the tropical heat! Onto opinion writing!  Love, Miss Brehm

SCIENCE: Organisms

In science we are studying organisms and what they need to survive! We learned that organisms need three things to survive FOOD, WATER and AIR! To put this to the test we planted our own Snow Peas. (The gloves were for touching the manure potting soil.) Each student planted a seed and gave it the three things it needs to survive. We placed them on the heater so they can get food from the sun.  Then we decided to do some experiments. Check them out below! We can't wait to see if our predictions are correct!  Happy Tuesday! Love, Miss Brehm
